61 31 117 Removing and installing/replacing power window switch (driver's side)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove switch cover on front door trim panel (driver's side). See 51 41... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SWITCH COVER ON FRONT (DRIVER'S SIDE) LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR TRIM PANEL .

Release power window regulator switch (1) at latch mechanisms (2) on both sides.

Pull power window regulator switch (1) out of power window regulator switch cover (3).

Installation note: 

Ensure correct latching of power window regulator switch (1) in power window regulator switch cover (3).
