61 42 010 Removing and installing/replacing battery charging module

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove right wheel arch panel. See 51 47 161 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH PANEL .

For F12/F13: 

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque 61 35 6AZ .

Remove battery charger module (3).

For F06: 

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Unscrew nuts (2).

Tightening torque 61 35 6AZ .

Remove battery charger module (3).
