Removing and installing (replacing) steering column switch cluster (2016-2022)

CAUTION: Move wheels into straight-ahead position and do not alter this position during the repair work.

Do not under any circumstances turn the steering column switch cluster when the steering wheel is removed.

Make sure the anti-twist lock locks during removal, the clock spring must not twist until installation.

Necessary preliminary work:

Unclip steering column shroud upper section and lower section (1).

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque 61 31 3AZ .

Remove steering column switch cluster (3) in direction of arrow.

Installation note:

Make sure during installation that the anti-twist lock is positioned correctly on the coil spring cassette.
