Activation of rear wiper

Electrical activation of the rear wiper is carried out in the Rear Electronic Module (REM). The Front Electronic Module (FEM) controls the wiper function and controls the rear wiper via the respective CAN message. The Rear Electronic Module (REM) provides feedback on the status of the rear wiper as a CAN message to the Front Electronic Module (FEM). The Front Electronic Module (FEM) carries out evaluation of signals from reverse gear switch, rear window contact switch and rear lid contact switch and uses the information for activation of the rear wiper. The rear wiper begins a new wipe cycle with every request.
