Park Distance Control (PDC): Notes

The Park Distance Control (PDC) is optional equipment (SA507 rear PDC, SA508 front and rear PDC). Park Distance Control (i.e.: park distance control) assists the driver when he is parking and maneuvering in tight spaces. This means that even small car parks can be used. At the same time, the amount of parking damage is reduced. The PDC runs a distance measurement in relation to objects in the detection range by means of ultrasonic sensors.

Slowly approaching an object in front of or behind the vehicle is indicated by:

NOTE: The parking aid function is integrated into different control units depending on the optional equipment!

If the parking maneuvering assistant optional equipment is not fitted, the PDC is integrated into the rear electronic module (REM). If the parking maneuvering assistant optional equipment is fitted, the PDC is integrated into the PMA control unit
