RTTI:  Real Time Traffic Information

TMC:  Traffic Message Channel

NOTE: Real Time Traffic Information (RTTI)  is available in the vehicle only after prior registration via Connecteddrive. Check the vehicle information in the ConnectedDrive Service Cockpit to determine whether or not the vehicle is enabled. The ConnectedDrive Service Cockpit is integrated in the BMW Aftersales Assistance Portal (ASAP). The BMW Aftersales Assistance Portal can be accessed via S-Gate.
The display of Real Time Traffic Information is basically dependent on the data quality of the service provider INRIX.

Whether TMC or RTTI traffic information is used is displayed in the map view in the lower status box. RTTI is ready approx. 2 min after starting the headunit and is updated every 3 minutes.

The complete message report is available within a radius of 30 km and on roadways and main roads within a radius of 100 km.

The traffic flow is shown using different colored marks:
