12 51 240 Remove and install/replace Module 2, sensor system engine wiring: Notes

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER
• Remove the cover in the left engine compartment
• Remove the right cover in the engine compartment
• Refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRAILING LINK ON SPRING STRUT DOME
• Remove the sound insulation on the bulkhead upper part center
• Refer to REMOVING ACOUSTIC COVER AT REAR
• Refer to REMOVING INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING
• Refer to REMOVING CLEAN AIR PIPE
• Refer to REMOVING CHARGE AIR LINE
• Refer to UNINSTALLING COVER FOR THE DME CONTROL UNIT 
• Disconnect the connector from the DME control unit and from the power distribution module (PDM)
• Refer to REMOVING THE WIRING HARNESS SECTION FOR SENSOR SYSTEM 2 
• Refer to INSTALLING THE WIRING HARNESS SECTION FOR SENSOR SYSTEM 2 

Follow-up work 

• Connect the connector to the DME control unit and the power distribution box (PDM)
• Refer to INSTALLING COVER FOR THE DME CONTROL UNIT 
• Refer to INSTALLING CHARGE AIR LINE
• Refer to INSTALLING CLEAN AIR PIPE
• Refer to INSTALLING INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING
• Refer to INSTALLING ACOUSTIC COVER AT REAR
• Remove the sound insulation on the bulkhead upper part center
• Install tension strut on spring strut dome. Jointing torque: 56 Nm, angle of rotation: 90°
  NOTE: Replace screws.
• Install the cover in the engine compartment on the left
• Install the cover in the engine compartment on the right
• Refer to INSTALLING ACOUSTIC COVER
