Resistance measurement of potential equalization lines: Procedure

Attach the clip-on current measurement probe to the 12 V positive wire (output of the DC/DC converter) of the EME.

Measure the voltage between the following measuring points:

• 12 V negative wire of the EME (outlet DC/DC converter).
• Housing of the high-voltage battery unit (if required, clean beforehand).

The electrical consumers are activated in the test module in order to achieve a specific threshold value for the current in the 12 V vehicle electrical system.
