JBE: Junction Box Electronics

The junction box electronics (JBE) activate the ultrasonic sensors to transmit the ultrasonic pulses. The JBE also receives the digital signals of the individual ultrasonic sensors. From the individual digital signals, the JBE control unit calculates the shortest distance between an ultrasonic sensor and the object. When an object is detected, a visual warning is given, which may also be accompanied by an acoustic warning, depending on the distance to the object.
