66 53 170 Removing and installing/replacing control unit for Top-/Rear-/Side- View Camera

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD PROTECTION) .

Lever out expanding rivets (1).

Release screw (2).

Remove lashing eye (3).

Carefully press luggage compartment wheel arch panel (4) to one side.

Installation note:

Make sure luggage compartment wheel arch panel (4) and rubber seal are correctly fitted.

Pull off wiring harness guide (1) in an upward direction.

Lift out expanding rivet (2).

Remove wheel arch support (3) by lifting upwards.

Release screw (1).

Remove amplifier (2) in direction of arrow.

Release nuts (2) and screws (3).

Remove TRSV control unit (1) including holder.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Replacement:

Unfasten screws (2).

Remove TRSV control unit (3) from holder.
