Structure and inner electrical connection
The starter motor generator has a separate terminal for the positive battery cable. The transfer of the control variables (such as nominal voltage for alternator for example) takes place via the local interconnect network bus.
An electronics module assumes the functions of the controller, as well as the activation of the power electronics.
The starter motor generator is connected to the vehicle electrical system by means of a 6-pin plug connection.
