SITUATION
Distribution of the following tools will be through the Automatic Tool Shipment Program. Additional tools may be purchased through your Regional Distribution Center (RDC).
Parking Lock Release Tool
Order P/N 83 30 2 355 850
- The parking lock release tool is designed to disengage the GA8HP75Z transmission parking lock in the event of a dead battery.
- This tool is to be used in the workshop only.
- Insert special tool (3) into the parking lock lever (1) and pull.
- Insert special tool (2) between the limit stop and the parking lock lever to unlock the transmission.
