Reversing camera
The rear view cameras provide support when parking backwards and maneuvering. To achieve this, the area behind the vehicle is shown on the central information display.
Attention!
The rear view camera is available as an individual camera in the optional equipment 3AG. In this basic version the camera and the control unit for the rear view camera make up a joint component.
The connector is geometrically coded. This prevents a mix-up with other cameras.
In the optional equipment 3AG, the CAN bus (K-CAN3) is connected on the rear view camera.
The detection range of the camera is a maximum of 100 meters. The horizontal angle for the capture is approx. 190°. The vertical angle for the capture is approx. 130°
The rear view camera like the front camera makes its signals available to the TRSVC control unit via Ethernet. In addition, the front camera is connected to the TRSVC control unit via an eight-pin plug connection.
Standard Ethernet:
Ethernet is a technology that specifies software (e.g. protocols) and hardware (e.g. cables,) for wired data networks. The combination corresponds to a local Network (LAN = local area network). The local network enables the data exchange in the form of data packets between the components which are connected in a local network. Transmission rates of 10 MBits/s are currently specified.
