FRM: Footwell module

The footwell module (FRM) is the master control unit for the functions of the exterior and interior lighting. It decides which lighting functions have to be activated or deactivated.

The footwell module (FRM) evaluates the signals of the light sensor for example. The junction box electronics (JBE) output the sensor signals as a CAN message to the footwell module (FRM).

Vehicles with front electronic module (FEM): The footwell module's (FRM) function is integrated in the front electronic module (FEM).
