Failure of the component

If the communication to the High variant of the roof function center fails, run the standard tests (global testing procedure). If there is an internal control unit fault, the following behavior is to be expected:

• Fault memory entry in the FZD control unit
• Check Control message in the instrument panel
• Failure of indicator light for passenger airbag deactivation Fault entry in the Crash Safety Module (ACSM) and Check Control message in the instrument panel.
• Failure of emergency call button or emergency call LED: Fault code entry in the telephone control unit and Check Control message in the instrument cluster.

After replacing the FZD control unit, it must be encoded and initialized.
