Wash/wipe system: Notes

The wash/wipe functions can be used as of terminal 30B ON.

I01, I12: Each of the two windscreen wipers is powered by an electric motor with reduction gear.

The windscreen wipers are activated by the Body Domain Controller (BDC).

The rear wiper is also activated by the Body Domain Controller (BDC). The same applies to the washer jet heating.

The rain-light-solar-condensation sensor is fitted as standard. This generally enables an automatic mode for the windscreen wipers.

NOTE: In vehicles with windscreen wipers and rear wipers, a shared windscreen washer pump is used.
