11 00 Mounting Engine On Assembly Stand (S63T)

Special tools required: 

WARNING:

Remove engine with hoist and special tool 11 0 020 .

Fit special tool 11 8 930 on engine.

Engine weighs approx. 280 kg.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

- Remove front axle with engine. See 31 10 001 COMPLETELY REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE FRONT AXLE WITH ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION (S63T0, MANUAL GEARBOX) .

- Remove engine from front axle. See REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE ON FRONT AXLE (S63T 0) WITH GS7D36SG TRANSMISSION .

- Clean contact surfaces.

Use special tool 11 8 931 to mount special tool 11 8 932 .

Insert screws (1 and 2).

Tightening torque: 11 11 9AZ .

Use special tool 11 8 931 to mount engine on special tool 00 2 300 .

Tightening torque: 11 11 10AZ
