11 00 Mounting Engine On Assembly Stand (N63O1)

Special tools required:

WARNING:

Remove engine with hoist and special tool 11 0 020 .

Fit special tool 11 8 930 on engine.

Engine weighs approx. 280 kg.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

- Fully remove front axle together with engine.

- Remove engine from front axle. See applicable procedure for drivetrain configuration: REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE ON FRONT AXLE (N63O1) WITH GA8HP70Z TRANSMISSION , REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE ON FRONT AXLE (N63O1) WITH GA8HP70Z ALL-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE TRANSMISSION , REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE ON FRONT AXLE (N63O1) WITH GA6HP26Z ALL-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE TRANSMISSION or REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE ON FRONT AXLE (N63O1) WITH MANUAL GEARBOX .

- Clean contact surfaces.

Use special tool 11 8 931 to mount special tool 11 8 932 .

Insert screws (1 and 2).

Tightening torque: 11 11 9AZ .

Tightening torque: 11 11 10AZ
