13 62 622 Remove and install or replace the nitrogen oxide sensor after SCR catalytic converter (N57 D30 O/T 1 with SCR)

Special tools required: 

WARNING: Risk of burning!
Only perform this repair work on an engine that has cooled down.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Detach nitrogen oxide sensor (1) and remove from exhaust system.

Tightening torque 13 62 11AZ .

Release screw (1).

Partially detach underbody panelling.

Unlock connector (1) and remove.

Unscrew nuts (2).

Tightening torque 13 62 12AZ .

Feed the nitrogen oxide sensor and control unit (3) for the nitrogen oxide sensor out and remove.

Installation note: 

Check stored error/fault messages.

Clear diagnostic fault entries from fault memory.
