SUBJECT
Side View Camera Does Not Display Picture
SITUATION
The side view camera does not display a picture:
- After engaging reverse gear
- Activating the side view camera via the switch on the center console near the gear shift
CAUSE
- Water (moisture) entering the cable assembly, causing corrosion on the pins in the connector(s) at the camera(s)
- Poor cable connection to the camera(s)

Refer to KSD2 for the corresponding flat rate unit (FRU) allowance. Enter the Chassis Number, which consists of the last 7 digits of the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Click on the "Search" button, and then enter the applicable flat rate labor operation in the FR code field.
