SITUATION
When saving seat memory settings (Memory 1 or Memory 2) with a vehicle without navigation, there is no audio tone confirmation.
CAUSE
Software error in control unit of Seat Module 2.
CORRECTION
Reprogram and code vehicle with ISTA/P or ISTA 4.
PROCEDURE
For conditions that are similar to the situation described:
- Perform diagnosis with the latest version of ISTA.
- Program the vehicle using ISTA/P 3.60.0 or ISTA 4.02.10 or higher.

Note that ISTA/P/ISTA 4 will automatically reprogram and code all programmable control modules that do not have the latest software.
Always connect a BMW approved battery charger/power supply (SI B04 23 10 ).

When ISTA/P/ISTA4 automatically reprograms and codes all the vehicle's control modules that "currently do not have" the latest software and if one or more control module failures occur "during" this programming procedure:
