Temperature protection (all series)

The temperature protection (thermal overload protection) is activated whenever the window is opened and closed 4 to 10 times in quick succession.

The window can then only be closed and is then disabled for 8 to 10 minutes.

After this cooling-down period, the power window drive can again be used normally.

The precise behavior (maximum number of operations and switch-off time) depends on the vehicle voltage and the programmed control unit software.
