12 63 586 Replacing power distribution module (N55)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Release expanding rivets (1) and remove cover (2).

Installation note:

Replace damaged expanding rivets.

Holder of cover (2) must snap into place in suspension cross-brace during installation.

Remove cover (2).

Release nut beneath it and set positive battery cable aside.

Unlock and pull off all connectors from power distribution module.

Release lock (1) in direction of arrow.

Feed out and remove power distribution box (3).

Reassemble the vehicle.
