13 62 620 Remove and install or replace the nitrogen oxide sensor before SCR catalytic converter (N57 D30 O/T 1 with SCR)

Only perform this repair work on an engine that has cooled down.
Only perform this repair work on an engine that has cooled down.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Read out the fault memory of the DDE control unit.
- Switch off ignition.
- Remove rear UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
Unlock connector (1) and remove.
Unfasten screws (2).
Tightening torque 13 62 12AZ .
Remove control unit (3) for nitrogen oxide sensor.
Release cable from clips (1).
Release cable strap (2).
Detach nitrogen oxide sensor (1) and remove from exhaust system.
Tightening torque 13 62 11AZ .
Maneuver out nitrogen oxide sensor and control unit for nitrogen oxide sensor and remove.
Installation note:
Check stored error/fault messages.
Clear diagnostic fault entries from fault memory.
