61 14 010 Removing and installing/replacing distribution box (on battery)

WARNING: Observe SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS for handling vehicle battery.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Release screws (1) and remove bracket (2).

Tightening torque 61 14 1AZ .

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Fold back cover (3).

Slacken nut (2). Tightening torque 61 21 2AZ .

Fold back cover (5).

Slacken nut (4). Tightening torque 61 21 2AZ .

Press locking brackets (1) downwards and unclip.

If necessary, using a screwdriver, expand locking bracket (1) at lower end and clip out.

Remove distribution box (2) towards top.
