Indicator lamp for front passenger airbag deactivation

If the indicator light for passenger airbag deactivation (front passenger airbag off-lamp) lights up, the following airbags on the front passenger side are disabled: front passenger airbag, side airbag, knee airbag.

The passenger airbag off lamp is continuously monitored via the MRS control unit. A fault in the voltage supply or a defective lamp is stored in the fault memory of the MRS control unit. If this occurs, the airbag indicator light is switched on.
