DME: Digital Motor Electronics

There are 3 sensors on the board in the DME control unit (MSD80):

• Temperature sensor
• Ambient pressure sensor
• Voltage sensor

The temperature sensor is employed for calculating thermal conditions of the components in the DME control unit. The ambient pressure sensor is required to calculate the mixture ratio. The ambient pressure falls the higher you go above sea level. The voltage sensor monitors the voltage supply from Terminal 87.
