Air supply: Notes

This is a BMW TwinPower Turbo engine featuring dual turbocharging. The engine features one twin-scroll exhaust turbocharger which is driven by two exhaust ports (dual turbocharging).

The 4-cylinder engines feature a cast manifold made of steel, with integrated turbine housing.

The 3-cylinder engines feature a water-cooled cast manifold made of aluminum, with integrated turbine housing.
