Steering angle adjustment

During the steering angle adjustment, the current steering wheel position is permanently stored in the steering column switch cluster as the straight-ahead position of the steering wheel. For this reason, the front wheels and the steering wheel must be precisely in the straight-ahead position when the steering angle is adjusted. The serial number of the steering column switch cluster and the vehicle identification number is also stored in the DSC (DSC allocation to SZL and vehicle). After successful steering angle adjustment, the fault memory of the steering angle sensor is automatically deleted.
