General notes on DSC Mk60E5: Notes

The DSC unit contains 5 internal pressure sensors and valves with variable characteristic curves for the flow rate: so-called "analogized" solenoid valves. The characteristic curves for the flow rate must be learned (calibrated).

A longitudinal acceleration sensor is integrated on the printed circuit board of the control unit (not M5 and M6).

M5 and M6: The longitudinal acceleration signal is transferred from the gearbox via the PT-CAN to the DSC control unit.

The version of the DSC sensor for vehicles with active steering delivers redundant signals (2 for yaw rate, 2 for lateral acceleration).
