Initialization with button

Initialization with button is to be carried out as follows:

• Press and hold button in "Raise" position
• After 15 seconds the SHD drive switches itself on in "Raise" direction and moves in "Raise" direction. The end position is stored in the module.
• In the "Raise" position the drive stops for 5 seconds and then runs in "Close" direction. In this way, the characteristic curve for "Close from Raise" is learned.
• The drive then moves to the "Open" end position, reverses and moves in "Close" direction. This teaches the characteristic curve for "Close".

The switch must remain depressed during the entire procedure. The test module must be repeated if the switch is released.

Important 

To ensure perfect function of the anti-trap mechanism, a re-initialization must be performed in any case after any type of repair on the slide/tilt sunroof.

If the slide/tilt sunroof is mechanically moved via emergency operation, the normalization, that is the learning of the "Raise" end position, must be performed again.

In addition, the "Raise" position must be pressed on the button. The drive moves into the "Raise" position after 15 seconds. If the end position is reached, the switch can be released.
