Refer to the attached quick reference chart describing the proper engine oil fill capacity and engine oil drain plug torque.

The same information is also contained in the applicable ISTA/D engine oil service repair instruction.

All Older Engines (Designations starting without "N" or "B"): 

For engine oil filling capacity refer to the TIS Operating Fluids Manual, Group 11, Section 13.0.

The 0W-30 LL01FE engine oil is fully compatible with the older engines and the 5W-30 LL01 engine oil. P/N 83 21 2 405 085 (5W-30 LL01 engine oil) is no longer available.

Use only part number 83 21 2 449 994 (0W-30 LL01FE engine oil) for your all of your future tanker deliveries.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

With the migration from "5W" weight to the "0W" weight engine oils, the "one-tenth" liter billing part numbers, except for as one noted below, are not currently available.

Until the corresponding "0W one-tenth" liter part numbers become available for the "0W bulk" container oil supply your center is ordering, BMW NA will reimburse centers for engine oil at the "full-liter" quantities and we will allow for the rounding up to the nearest liter.

Exception 

The 0W-30 LL01FE "one-tenth" liter billing part number (83 21 2 450 384) is now available for those centers that are currently ordering the bulk quantity "Tanker Delivery - Liters" part number (83 21 2 449 994).

• Invoicing this BMW engine oil using the "one-tenth" liter billing part number becomes effective with repair order/claim dates on or after October 17, 2016.
