Tire Pressure Monitor System REINITIALIZATION

CAUTION: When driving with snow chains or a space-saver spare tire, DO NOT initialize the system.
  1. Set the tire pressure of all wheels to specification.
    • 2003:  Turn ignition key to the ON position. Do not start the engine.
    • 2004-08:  Start the engine, but do not drive off.
  3. Press TPMS reset button long enough for the yellow TPMS indicator lamp in the instrument cluster to light up for a few seconds. See Fig 1.
  4. Drive vehicle. Initialization is automatically completed during the drive, with no additional feedback.
