61 31 033 Removing and installing/replacing light switch unit

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove finisher on left instrument panel trim 51 16... REPLACING FINISHER ON LEFT INSTRUMENT PANEL .

Release screws (1).

Unlock internal plug connection and disconnect.

Pull out light switch unit (2) in direction of arrow and remove.

Replacement: 

Carry out coding/programming.

Observe following IDC specifications:

• Programming
• Coding
• If necessary, car & key memory
• CD "CIP"
