24 34 ... Manually Unlocking Transmission Lock
For various tasks, it is necessary to unlock and lock the transmission lock.
This can be done from inside or underneath the car.
From inside car:
- Refer to Owner's Manual MANUALLY UNLOCKING TRANSMISSION LOCK
Underneath car:
- Remove underbody paneling See 51 47 ... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT UNDERBODY PANELING
Unlocking:
- Press lever (1) towards rear.
Clamp lever firmly if permanently unlocking is desired.
Locking:
- Release lever (1) or release clamping
