61 31 261 Removing And Installing/Replacing Gear Selection Switch

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Remove front section of steering column cover. Refer to 32 31 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT SECTION OF STEERING COLUMN COVER .

Release screws (1).

Remove gear selection switch (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation: 

Seat gear selector switch (2) with integrated pin housing (1) exactly in fixture for steering column control.
