61 31 246 Removing And Installing/Replacing Button For Rear Lid (Up To 03/2005)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove rear light  . See 63 21 186 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR LIGHT (ON CENTRE OF REAR LID) .

Release screws (1).

Remove rear lid button (2) in direction of arrow from rear lamp unit (4).

Installation: 

Ensure gasket (3) is correctly seated.
