61 31 040 Removing and Installing/Replacing Switch For Windscreen Wipers
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead . See 61 20 900 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD
- Remove airbag unit . See 32 34 020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING AIRBAG UNIT
- Remove steering wheel . See 32 33 001 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING STEERING WHEEL
- Remove front section of steering column trim . See 32 31 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT SECTION OF STEERING COLUMN COVER
Release screws (1) and remove windshield wiper switch (2) towards rear.
