61 31 195 Removing and installing (replacing) front controller

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
The button for the controller must not be removed!

Necessary preliminary work:

REMOVE CENTER CONSOLE TRIM

Removal:

Release all screws (1).

Remove controller (2) from center console trim (3).

Installation:

Mount controller (2) on center console trim (3) and tighten with screws (1).

Tightening torque 61 31 2AZ .

Replacement:

Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING/ENCODING .

Required follow-up work:
