Sac Clutch

The SMG II operates with the SAC clutch used in the S54B32 manual gearbox. The pressure force of the pressure plate over the driving disc onto the flywheel remains the same over the clutch's entire operating time. The release force is likewise the same over the operating time. The shift quality in the SMG II thus remains the same. See Fig 1 .
