Steering Column: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten down new shear screw until screw head shears off. See Figure.
  2. When installing interlock cable, lock (1) must snap into place. See Figure.
  3. After installation, carry out mechanical (locking cylinder, steering lock, interlock) and electrical (ignition, radio, etc.) function checks.
