Removal & Installation (Z3)

ECU is located in box in right rear of engine compartment. Remove ECU box cover. Disconnect electrical connector. Remove ECU. To install, reverse removal procedure.

CAUTION: BMW 3-series vehicles utilize either a Bosch or Siemens ECU. ECUs cannot be interchanged.
