Clutch - Repair: Description

Clutch is single-plate, dry-disc type. Flywheel is a dual-mass type. Diaphragm spring-type pressure plate uses a vibrational damper. Release bearing is operated by slave cylinder push rod and release lever.

Slave cylinder is mounted on clutch housing and extends inside housing. See Figure. Clutch master cylinder is connected to clutch pedal by a push rod. Master cylinder is mounted to firewall.
