Removal & Installation

  1. Ensure fuel tank is nearly empty. Remove luggage compartment trim panels and carpet. Remove fuel pump access panel.
  2. Mark fuel hoses for reassembly reference. Disconnect fuel hoses. Move retainer aside and remove wiring connector. Remove 8 mounting screws and lift out fuel level sender/pump assembly.
  3. To remove pump from sender, press in retaining hooks on sides of fuel pump and pull pump up. Remove screws, hoses and wires from fuel pump. To install, reverse removal procedure.
