Throttle Position Switch

Throttle switch is located on intake manifold, opposite throttle linkage, below air intake hose to throttle body. Throttle switch determines throttle valve position. This information is converted into an electrical signal and is sent to the Microprocessor Control Unit (MCU). Switch incorporates idle switch and Wide Open Throttle (WOT) switch functions. MCU interprets signal as full throttle, idle or normal condition.
