Cylinder Identification Sensor

Sensor is located on right front of engine, near distributor. Sensor uses an inductive pick-up looped around No. 6 spark plug wire to give fuel injector group identification information to DME/Motronic control unit. This allows DME/Motronic control unit to activate each injector group (1-3-5 and 2-4-6) once every working cycle (360 degrees). Cylinder identification sensor is connected to DME/Motronic control unit terminals No. 8 and No. 31.
