Location of Central Label for Central Coding Key
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Central Label (for central coding key) for E36 models was previously located under the rear seat, along the centerline of the vehicle. During April 1993, the location of the central label has been moved to the cover for the left fuel level sensor (also under the rear seat). This change is due to the fact that the previously used location will not be free on vehicles produced 9/93 and later (fitted with Central Airbag Electronics Module (ZAE) under the rear seat).
