Diagnostic System

MCU features self-diagnostic system with internal memory. Intermittent failures are stored with record of failure frequency. Up to 5 malfunctions or codes can be stored at once. Codes relating to exhaust emissions can displace another code stored in MCU memory. Exhaust emission codes are from airflow meter, Lambda (O2 sensor) system, coolant temperature sensor, and throttle position switch.
