Cooling System Bleeding
Add coolant to expansion tank, and fill to level mark. See Fig 1 . Place A/C-heater control on WARM setting to ensure heater valve is open. Start engine, and run it at fast idle speed. Open bleed screw on thermostat housing or expansion tank, and continue to add coolant to expansion tank as coolant level drops. Tighten bleed screw as soon as coolant is free of air bubbles.
