Oil Level Indicator Test

Ensure the following fuses are intact, switch is properly connected and engine oil level is correct:

Oil level sensor is located at bottom of oil pan. Sensor contains 2 switches. Use an ohmmeter to check switches. When oil level is low, dynamic switch (Blue/White wire) closes, and static switch (Blue/Violet wire) opens. When oil level is at correct level, static switch closes, and dynamic switch opens. If switch operation is incorrect, replace switch.
